High School Highlights

June 6, 2006

The Debating Team continued to carry all before them with a resounding victory in the Jamaican Model United Nations Debating competition The motion was ‘Compliance is better than confrontation amongst nations’. Our team had to represent Cuba and they chose to support the motion. The team had researched thoroughly and Darryl Johnson delivered an excellent speech. Our first-place trophy was a well-deserved victory and Mrs. Cheryl Holdsworth-Gayle, Head of English, must be highly commended on such a successful first debating season.
