Outstanding Recognition for Hillel Ballet dancers

Highest in the Island

Mariana Samuda gained the very highest mark awarded in Jamaica at Grade 5 with 88% and was followedby Jessica Chung who gained the second highest Grade 5 mark at 85%.

Sabrina Bernard-Moulton gained anoutstanding 92% to achieve the highest in the island for Grade 3.

Warmest congratulations to these three,very talented young ladies!

32 Hillel Academy students are to be congratulated upon their excellent achievements in the Royal Academy of Dance examinations, the results of which are as follows:

  • Grade 1
    8 students passed with Merit and 2 students, Kiersten Kerr and Paige Nash, gained Distinction.
  • Grade 2
    3 students passed with Merit and 3 students, Janessa Mendes, Abigail Berry and Gabriella Black, gained Distinction.
  • Grade 3
    5 students passed with Merit and 5 students, Jordanne Levy, Sydney Cargill, Edward Bernard-Crofts, Amy Kerr and Sabrina Bernard-Moulton, gained Distinction.
  • Grade 4
    All 3 students, Amy Kerr, Edward Bernard-Crofts and Sabrina Bernard-Moulton gained Distinction.
  • Grade 5
    All 3 students, Brooke Harrison, Jessica Chung and Mariana Samuda gained Distinction.
Grade 5 is regarded as the equivalent level of a pass at Cambridge GCE. This is an outstanding achievement for these students and for their teachers, led by Mrs. Elizabeth Samuda.
